Customer Accounts Manager

About the role

The Explore This Location Customer Accounts Manager role is located in corporate retail stores and is responsible for driving store success by managing the customer accounts department. Key responsibilities include influencing team performance, assisting the General Manager with operational functions, building customer relationships, and managing the collections process.

Responsibilities

• Attain and maintain customer accounts, updating information in the store computer system and documenting payment appointments.
• Support the General Manager with account recommendations, payment frequency monitoring, and payment history analysis.
• Engage with customers to support their ownership goals and drive sales, manage collections, and review lease agreements.
• Contact non-renewing customers via phone and home visits, update customer information, and ensure accurate records.
• Clean and certify merchandise in the cleaning station, complete weekly vehicle maintenance sheets, and load, secure, and protect products in the company vehicle.
• Safely operate the company vehicle and assist the Sales Team as needed.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and DOT certification (if applicable).
• Two years of college or two years of previous management experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High energy and effective multitasking abilities.
• Proper telephone etiquette and adherence to the Aaron’s Brand.
• Proficient computer skills.
