Customer Account Executive
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business to drive expansion and retention by proactively identifying customer needs, uncovering growth opportunities, and positioning solutions to maximize customer value.
- Execute a consistent and strategic sales process across the full customer lifecycle, including discovery, value articulation, negotiation, and close.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Implementation, Support and Product teams to ensure seamless execution, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnership success.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene in sales tools, and regularly report on progress toward individual and team targets.
- Continuously sharpen your sales skills and deepen your product knowledge by staying current on Ironclad’s capabilities and developing a strong understanding of the outcomes our customers are striving to achieve.
Key Skills and Requirements
- At least 2-5 years of new business sales or account management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS.
- You’ve sourced and sold deals in the $25k-$250k ARR range and have experience running a full sales cycle on your own.
- Comfort with basic sales tools and ability to utilize internal systems to surface upsell and cross sell opportunities within your book of business.
- Excellent communication skills, and persistent follow through on commitments to our customers.
- Works well with other teams and wants to own projects outside of just closing deals.
- Self-sufficient with a strong internal sense of urgency.
- Comfortable with commercial negotiation and willing to iterate selling style as needed.
Pay
The OTE range represents the minimum and maximum of the OTE range for this position based at our San Francisco headquarters. The OTE offered for this position will depend on numerous factors, including individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and the location of the selected candidate. Schedule
This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco and New York offices. Office attendance is required at least twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for collaboration and connection. There may be additional in-office days for team or company events.
