Custom Protection Officer Part Time Rover

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials when required, and reporting security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Support daily operations at a food and beverage location by observing loading and receiving areas, monitoring visitor and/or contractor activity, and maintaining accurate incident and patrol records.

Requirements

• Must possess one or more of the following:
• Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
• Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
• Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Alarm panel experience is preferred
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour
