Security Officer Part Time Rover

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site personnel and visitors.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry and/or exit, and report security-related concerns, damaged equipment, or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Support orderly site operations by documenting daily activities, preparing incident reports, and/or sharing relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
- Licenses and certifications may be required based on state and local laws.

- Customer service skills.
- Security-related procedures knowledge.
- Emergency response capabilities.
- Patrol and monitoring experience.
- Access control and verification skills.
