Security Officer Part Time Rover

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain access control by monitoring access points and verifying entry and/or exit activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized access for personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
• Report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols so appropriate site representatives can be notified for follow-up.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
