Custom Apparel Production Lead

About the role

Lion DTF Transfers is a family owned and operated business seeking a Custom Apparel Print Shop Production Lead to oversee our pressing operations. This role is ideal for someone organized, hands-on, and eager to contribute directly to business growth.

Responsibilities

• Own the production and print shop order schedule from start to finish.
• Serve as the go-to contact for customer emails, calls, and order updates.
• Coordinate gang sheets, samples, and product check-ins with the print production team.
• Spend a few hours daily on the press floor running production alongside supervisory duties.
• Handle invoicing and payment through Shopify before orders ship out.
• Ensure Lion Print Shop orders are fulfilled and on schedule.

Requirements

• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and agencies.
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, order systems) and ability to learn new software like Shopify and Google Sheets.
• Graphic design or Adobe/vectorizing experience is a plus but not required.
• Hands-on team player comfortable with daily pressing and eager to grow into higher-level responsibilities.
