About the role
The Institutional Custody team provides custody services to large global and domestic institutional clients. UMB entered the Institutional Custody space after noticing a need for our services from existing and potential clients. This allows us to provide full-service offerings to our customers who are often clients of Trust, Fund Services, and other groups as well. Our team is growing and looking for our next teammate!
Responsibilities
- Participate in client onboarding including communication, setups needed (account, users, systems), and asset conversion until the new client has launched.
- Help lead communication with Custody team and client to ensure all people associated with the client are prepared for launch/conversion to UMB.
- Oversee new account setups and give constructive feedback to allow growth and decrease the reoccurrence of issues.
- Track asset set up, Global market openings, and reregistration of private assets involved in conversions.
- Partner with internal teams to support our client groups, handling documentation and audit requests.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- At least three (3) years’ experience in Financial Services or Custody industry

Pay
- US Employees in California, Washington DC, New Jersey, and New York: $62,310 - $90,760
- US Employees in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin: $56,890 - $83,080
- US Employees in all other states not listed above: $51,480 - $75,410
