Custodian Supervisor A
Job Duties
Assign duties and responsibilities to subordinate Custodian staff located in various units of ELMHS.
Provide oversight and support to ensure that duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance with ELMHS policies, procedures and protocols.
Provide unit-specific orientation and competency assessment for subordinate Custodian Staff.
Inspect assigned buildings to assure compliance with assigned duties.
Utilizes the Continuous Performance Management system to document subordinate custodial staff performance.
Oversee procedures for subordinate staff in the cleaning, disinfection, and sanitation of areas in which body fluids are present.
Verify the proper disposal of bio-hazardous waste.
Reports all safety hazards in a timely manner.
Conducts random inspections of Custodial Services equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
Requirements
Two years of experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or food service work.
