Custodian - Second Shift

About the role

To maintain a safe, clean, and attractive environment for students and teachers, ensuring the facility is well-kept and functional.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms and surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, walls, and drinking fountains.
• Empty trash, refill dispensers, and ensure waste management.
• Make minor repairs to equipment and building structures, and notify supervisors of necessary repairs.
• Ensure all areas are secure by shutting off lights and locking doors.
• Keep custodial areas organized and communicate work status or issues to supervisors.
• Follow district policies and procedures, and perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage time effectively to complete daily tasks.
• Work collaboratively and be flexible with work schedules.
• Capable of minor repairs and maintaining cleanliness standards.
