Custodian - Part Time

About the role

We are seeking a dependable Part-Time Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at a school.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, restrooms, and common areas
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining floors
• Emptying trash and restocking supplies
• Setting up and taking down spaces and equipment for activities
• Performing minor repairs and reporting maintenance needs
• Assisting with grounds maintenance
• Responding to spills and clean-up needs
• Securing the building at shift end

Requirements

• Reliable and able to work independently
• Detail-oriented with good time management
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and staying active
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods is preferred but not required
• Must complete pre-employment screenings, including a custodial physical
