Custodian Night Lead - Jr. High

Essential Functions

• Assists with site snow removal in the preparation of night events.
• Cleans assigned facilities and/or grounds.
• Consults with administrative personnel to plan, prioritize, and schedule custodial activities.
• Distributes custodial supplies and equipment.
• Informs students and other site personnel of activities, safety issues, and proper maintenance of facilities.
• Inspects facilities and components to ensure safety and proper maintenance.
• Maintains supplies and equipment.
• Manages preparation, set-up, and take down of events.
• Makes sure activities are performed safely and in compliance with site requirements.
• Performs minor job-related maintenance on custodial equipment and facilities.
• Prepares written materials and prepares site for daily operations.
• Replenishes classroom and rest room supplies.
• Responds to immediate safety and operational concerns.
• Safeguards facilities and grounds.
• Supports other site maintenance staff.
• Trains assigned personnel.
• Transports tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Participates in meetings and trainings.

Requirements

• Age 16+
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Job-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
