ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• High Dusting: Using a treated high duster, clean surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitizing/Spot Cleaning: Use a germicidal solution to clean surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom Cleaning: Wipe down surfaces, clean toilets, check and refill soap and paper dispensers.
• Floor Dusting/Vacuuming: Dust mop and vacuum, paying special attention to under furniture and near doors.
• Grounds Care: Clean and check outside areas, including sidewalks, flower beds, and parking lots.
• Food Court: Clean tables, empty and sanitize trash cans, and stack clean trays.
• Floor Sanitizing: Use a germicidal solution to sanitize the floor, paying special attention to under furniture and behind doors.
• Customer Relations and Service: Knock on doors before entering, be friendly and answer questions, report issues to supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment.
• Physical requirements: walking, standing, sitting, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, climbing, bending, twisting, reaching, grasping, and using hand and power tools.
