Custodian Lead

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor
• Aid Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Track and maintain supply inventory
• Aid Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor
• Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and supplies
• Correct at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediately
• Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement

Qualification

• High school diploma / GED required
• At least 1-year related experience
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification (may be required)
• Valid driver’s license (may be required)
• Completed all safety and task training certification (may be required)
• Forklift certification (may be required)

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Frequent sitting and talking/listening
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds

Compensation And Shift

• Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm
• $17.00- $18.00 per hour
