Custodian Lead (Active TS/SCI Required)
About the role
This position is responsible for leadership, coordination and the safe and effective execution of all custodial service activities for assigned personnel. Directly supervises custodial team in the cleaning & maintenance of buildings in accordance with established project procedures, requirements and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare project reports and contribute to project estimates by identifying activities, status, and performance
- Develop working knowledge of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) programs by applying standard O&M practices
- Complete work by implementing crew deployment schedule in assigned area of responsibility
- Aid in ensuring operation and availability of equipment by evaluating the quantity and quality of equipment and reporting corrective actions/programs as needed to management
- Maintain technical knowledge by keeping current on available systems and equipment for maintenance management and/or custodial services
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Valid Driver’s License
- Lead custodial team
- Complete work by implementing crew deployment schedule in assigned areas of responsibility
- Establish work plans for the organization, assigns schedules and priorities
- Solve problems within procedural limitations
- Ensure that staff complete activities and work orders as scheduled each month
- Provide on-the-job and other formal training to staff in areas of specialization
- Review and evaluate performance and ensures Fluor quality standards are being met
- Monitor Work Order (WO) implementation to ensure compliance with procedures
- Consults with client(s) to help establish priorities
- Perform an audit function regularly to ensure Fluor standards of workmanship are being met
- Determine responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives
- Perform administrative activities associated with the effective management of operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports
Qualifications
- A combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years*
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Market Rate
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
