About the role
Amentum is seeking an Industrial Janitor/Custodian to provide the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area for an industrial facility. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities.
- Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash.
- Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
- Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Provides special cleaning and support during client events, as needed.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in industrial or commercial cleaning.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility/security credentials/authorization.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
