About the role
Cleaning of all athletic facilities, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning brass, cleaning windows, floor maintenance, carpet maintenance, cleaning courts, etc.
Maintenance of custodial supply inventory.
Venue preparation for events.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- No Degree (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
- Custodian I - no experience required.
- Certifications, Registrations, And/or Licenses: Must maintain valid Oklahoma Drivers License
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications: Ability to handle multiple work priorities simultaneously; ability to work with minimal supervision in a highly self-motivated manner; general knowledge of custodial equipment and supplies, ability to lift and move 50 pounds if necessary. Adaptable to ever-changing technological needs of the facility, and changes in procedures, environment, and responsibilities. Physical ability to ascend/descend ladder, or kneel, crawl into high, low or tight spaces to clean hard to reach areas. Must be able to read and understand SDS sheets and department directives.
- Preferred Qualifications: High School/GEDHS/GED and 0-6 months general custodial experience; knowledge of custodial equipment and supplies. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for one year of high school.
