Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities
- Maximize customer success by offering financial services tailored to their needs.
- Audit and process loan/pawn applications, check cashing transactions, and ancillary products.
- Manage daily call campaigns to market services, build new business, and nurture customer relationships.
- Oversee account management and recovery processes, including collection calls, while maintaining customer service.
- Support and coach Customer Service Representatives to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety procedures.
- Perform duties outside the office, such as on-site vehicle appraisals, store errands, and external marketing activities.
- Work to meet performance standards by leveraging partnerships, referrals, and community events.
- Maintain office security, conduct opening and closing procedures, and manage store audits.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Conduct store audits, create reports, and compile financial data to ensure compliance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, address facility needs, and schedule maintenance services.
- Handle multiple tasks with ease to meet individual and team performance standards.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including weekends.
Qualifications and Skills
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year’s experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
- At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
- Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle for use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
- The ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing up to 90% of the time, moving up to 25 pounds, and operating mechanical controls.
- Management experience in retail, finance, or related industries is preferred.
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, and money order processing is beneficial.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
