This position involves manual work in the care and cleaning of school buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include a variety of tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, washing, mopping, making minor reports, and other assigned duties.

• Dusting and vacuuming assigned areas

• Performing other assigned duties related to building and grounds maintenance

Work standards

Work is generally performed in accordance with established procedures, with specific instructions provided for unusual jobs or problems. Performance is subject to inspection by the custodial manager to ensure compliance with established cleanliness standards.
