About the role

Under immediate direction, performs work in the maintenance and cleaning of City buildings, facilities and grounds.

Schedule

• Sunday, 5:00am – 1:30pm
• Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 2:30pm

Pay

$44,283.20 – $56,617.60 (starting wage contingent upon experience)

Minimum qualifications

• High school education or G.E.D. or pursuit of degree and one to three months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid State of Iowa driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must pass criminal background check
• FBI fingerprint screening required for facility access to Iowa City Police Department

Preferred qualifications

• High school education or G.E.D. and four to six months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in janitorial or building maintenance
