Custodian Day Porter - #8258

Schedule

Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (16 hours weekly).

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and surfaces using prescribed methods and procedures.
• Mix cleaning and disinfecting solutions following safety protocols.
• Dust, mop, and sweep break areas, elevators, gyms, restrooms, common areas, and other rooms.
• Clean and disinfect assigned areas.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Inform supervisor or Area Manager when supplies are needed.
• Report cleaning equipment needing repair or replacement to the housekeeping supervisor.
• Alert housekeeping supervisor to any building hazards.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for equipment and supplies.
• Organize janitorial storage closet as needed.
• Secure interior offices, shut off lights, set alarms, and secure main entry door when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of work.

Requirements

• Maintenance and/or cleaning experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Capable of light lifting, bending, and stooping.
• Strong awareness of safety.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
