Custodian Day Porter (outdoors) - #96402

About the role

We are looking for a Custodian Day Porter Technician at one of Boca Raton's most beautiful resorts. The position requires dedication, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional quality.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and surfaces using prescribed cleaning methods and procedures.
• Mix appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting materials following safety protocols.
• Dust, mop, and sweep break areas, elevators, gyms, and restrooms, common areas, or other type of rooms.
• Clean and disinfect areas as per scope of work.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Inform supervisor or Area Manager if any supplies are needed.
• Inform housekeeping supervisor of any cleaning equipment that may need repair or replacement.
• Inform housekeeping supervisor about any building hazards.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Organize janitorial storage closet as needed.
• Secure all interior offices if applicable.
• Shut off all lights if required.
• Set alarm if applicable and secure main entry door.
• Perform other duties as needed based on scope of work.

Requirements

• Maintenance and/or cleaning experience.
• Comfortable walking for extended periods of time due to the size of the property.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Able to perform tasks that involve light lifting, bending, and stooping.
• Able to maintain a strong awareness of safety.
• Passes a Background Check.
• Passes a Drug Test.
• Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be in good physical condition and able to comfortably perform extended periods of walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting.
• Able to lift, carry, and move 25 pounds or more on a regular basis.
• Capable of working on your feet for long periods and performing repetitive physical tasks.
