The company specializes in high-volume metal stamping, thermoplastic molding, and value-added assembly solutions for medical, aerospace & defense, automotive, interconnect, telecommunications, and consumer goods industries. As a Custodian at the East Hanover, NJ location, you will maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout the manufacturing facility, including production areas, offices, break rooms, warehouses, locker rooms, and restrooms, ensuring compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and good manufacturing practices (GMP) where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production support areas, offices, restrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors using manual and powered cleaning equipment.
• Empty trash, recycling, and designated waste containers according to facility procedures.
• Clean windows, walls, doors, and other building surfaces.
• Replenish restroom and facility supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
• Respond promptly to spills and sanitation issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to speak English.

Pay

Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour. The base salary for this role will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related knowledge and skills, experience, and internal consistency.
