Custodian

About the role

The Custodian ensures a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff by performing a variety of housekeeping and maintenance duties. This role includes cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds, while adhering to all safety, infection control, and operational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform physical tasks including walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting (up to 60 lbs) frequently.
• Work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Communicate courteously with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Handle multiple responsibilities and respond to changing priorities.
• Apply knowledge of safety procedures, infection control practices, and proper use of cleaning chemicals.

Schedule

Part-time, rotating shift.
