Custodian

About the role

This full-time Custodian position plays an essential role in creating an environment where students and employees can thrive. You'll perform a variety of custodial and building maintenance tasks to keep classrooms, offices, restrooms, common areas, and campus facilities clean, organized, and ready for daily use.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning floors, carpets, windows, and furnishings
• Replenishing supplies
• Setting up meeting rooms and classrooms
• Operating cleaning equipment
• Removing trash and recycling
• Assisting with snow removal
• Helping maintain secure campus buildings
• Identifying and reporting maintenance concerns or safety hazards
• Helping ensure campus facilities remain safe and well maintained

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, employees, and visitors
• Comfortable performing physically active work
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities

Pay: Starting pay range $16.46 - $18.93, Pay Grade: C4

Schedule: 4:00pm - 12:30am, with occasional weekend availability
