About the role

Complete all janitorial duties wherever needed, in a complete and timely manner.

Primary duties and responsibilities

• Vacuuming
• Sweeping
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Empty trash
• Empty recycling
• Clean up to 9 bathrooms total: toilets, floors, replenish soap, paper towel, toilet paper, and personal hygiene products
• Clean all walls, including stalls
• Clean sinks and vanities
• Floor sweeper (required)
• Carpet stain extraction and general cleaning
• Wash inside of windows and screens
• Dust window ledges, heaters, chairs, and similar surfaces
• Break room: sweep and mop floors, clean all surfaces including counter tops and sinks, maintain basic cleanliness of breakroom equipment, dust window ledges, heaters, chairs, and similar surfaces
• Empty and wipe down cigarette butt cans (outside doors and by picnic table)

Schedule and location

• 27 hours per week
• Preferred shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 11:30 AM
• Primary work location: Mason Shoe Outlet Store; occasional work at Mason's Fulfillment Centers and/or Corporate Office

Secondary duties

• Clean break room refrigerators as requested

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have and maintain a valid Wisconsin Driver's License

Physical demands

• Normal hearing and sight on a continuous basis
• Continuously lift up to 10 pounds; frequently lift up to 30 pounds; occasionally team lift up to 50 pounds
• Frequent reaching above shoulders, at shoulder height, and below shoulders
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring continuous use of one or both hands
• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and/or walk for the majority of an eight-hour shift
• Ability to sit/drive for an average of two hours of an eight-hour shift daily

Work environment

Tasks do not expose the employee to physically unpleasant or hazardous conditions.

Training

A training development plan will be created and customized to the individual.
