Custodian

About the role

The custodian role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout assigned facilities. Duties include performing routine cleaning tasks at scheduled intervals during the day to ensure all areas remain presentable.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in custodial services or facility maintenance services

Responsibilities

• General cleaning in office spaces, classrooms, and restrooms
• Collecting and emptying trash
• Dusting all surfaces
• Stripping and waxing floors
• Stocking and maintaining cleaning supplies, as needed
• Washing windows
• Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor or Director of Physical Plant

Full-time, 12-month, non-exempt position.
