Responsibilities

• Pick-up, sweep & mop assigned areas.
• Empty trash cans in assigned areas.
• Empty steel bins and/or scrap bins in assigned areas.
• Wipe down & clean cabinets, desks, etc., in assigned areas.
• Wipe down & clean machinery in assigned areas.
• Keep maintenance closet picked up & in proper order.
• Ensure all dirty mop heads are put in the proper location.
• Report any malfunction or problems with the rider & walk-behind floor scrubbers to supervisor.
• Keep all shop corners picked-up & cleaned.
• Keep area behind all shop machines picked-up & cleaned.

Requirements

• Knowledge, recognition, care, and use of all equipment pertinent to the job requirements.
• Ability to begin and complete a project with a minimum of supervision.
• Flexibility to change routines.
• Good attendance and dependability.
• Be at your workstation ready to work at assigned time.
• Ability to be a team player, but also work alone.
• Consideration for all team members.
• Willingness to learn.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Must be able to pass background and drug tests.
