Summary Valley County is looking for a Custodian to provide cleaning services for its various office buildings in Cascade. This is a full-time position with full employee benefits.

This is a crucial role responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all county employees and the public.

Typical Duties & Responsibilities

• Cleaning work areas, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, and break areas.
• Mixing and preparing cleaning materials and chemicals.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Scrubbing and disinfecting restroom sinks, toilets, mirrors, windows, and surface areas.
• Replacing soap and paper products.
• Dusting, wiping, polishing, and tidying work areas and offices.
• Emptying garbage cans.

Typical Qualifications

• Previous experience performing cleaning or housekeeping duties, preferably in a professional work setting.
• Willingness to work with various cleaning supplies and chemicals.
• Able to spend long hours on their feet while performing repetitive physical tasks with their hands.
