CUSTODIAN

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in our dealership.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, clean windows, and polish floors
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Dust furniture, equipment, and surfaces
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Handle food at events for customers
• Put on display/Make snacks for customers while they wait in our showroom
• Perform basic maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, minor repairs)
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify supervisor when supplies are low
• Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly
• Lock and unlock doors, turn off lights, and secure buildings as required
• Report any damage, needed repairs, or security concerns to management

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training
• Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, stand, bend, and walk for long periods
• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and safety procedures
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training
• Skills: Ability to work independently, physical stamina, attention to detail, commitment to cleanliness
