Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning functions specific to the facility and based on project requirements
• Responsible for interior/exterior painting
• Light carpentry and cosmetic upkeep to ensure buildings are clean, safe, and visually presentable
• Perform limited grounds maintenance
• Operate mobile equipment and aerial work platforms to perform assigned duties
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and powered equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Empty trash receptacles, dispose of trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bag trash for proper disposal
• May assist or perform snow removal activities and minor maintenance
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must pass a background check
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Understand written and verbal instructions
• Follow all safety procedures
• Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Must be willing and available to work overtime as needed

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
