Custodian - 3rd Shift

About the Role

This position involves maintaining cleanliness and safety within a facility, including securing the building, cleaning designated areas, and preparing spaces for events or activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties such as trash removal, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, cleaning glass, and refilling supplies.
• Ensure sanitation during flu/COVID periods and spray for bedbugs as needed.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for games, events, and meetings, including spill cleanup and trash management.
• Support snow removal activities, including shoveling, spreading ice-melt, and notifying maintenance of weather-related concerns.
• Help with emergency responses and work extra hours when necessary, including weekends and after shifts.
• Participate in summer cleaning projects, including heavy furniture lifting and deep cleaning of buildings and rooms.

Requirements

• Must pass a background check and DCCS clearance.
• Attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to perform physical tasks are essential.
