Custodian 1, 2 or 3

Job Duties

• Clean, mop, disinfect, and sweep the assigned area daily.
• Decontaminates patient rooms, restrooms, and isolation rooms that contain biohazard wastes such as blood, urine, feces, and used needles. Dispose of infectious waste.
• Strips, buffs, waxes, and disinfects floors regularly using required industrial machinery.
• Mix the cleaning solution to the proper concentrations necessary for various tasks.

• Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, or Job Appointment
• Career Progression: This position may be filled as a Custodian 1, 2, or 3.
• Compensation: This position is eligible for premium pay of up to $3.00 per hour.
