This position is located at Fort Sill Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation, Lodging/RV Campgrounds. The initial cut-off date for this vacancy is 08/31/2026. Additional applications will be considered as vacancies occur. This job is open to U.S. Citizens, Nationals, or those who owe allegiance to the U.S., including Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territory for three or more continuous years immediately preceding Federal affiliation.

Duties

  • Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas.
  • Operates industrial equipment to clean rugs, drapes, etc.
  • Makes beds and changes linen.
  • Washes walls, windows, blinds, and ceiling fixtures using ladders, scaffolds, and safety belts.
  • Moves heavy furniture.
  • Maintains stock of room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
  • Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Must successfully complete all required background checks, including a health screening.
  • Incumbent may be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card.
  • Required to stand and walk on hard and carpeted surfaces with some bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of items or carts weighing up to 20 to 40 pounds, occasionally over 50 pounds.
  • Appointment subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR215-3, para. 2.

  • Resumes must clearly demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities as they pertain to this position.
  • Must have knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties listed, including the ability to use and maintain tools and equipment of the trade.
  • Must keep the assigned work area neat and clean and communicate both orally and in writing.

This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible for extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.

Pay

This position follows the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system.
