Custodial Worker NA-02

This position is located at Hunter Bingo, Hunter Army Airfield, GA. Open to U.S. Citizens, Nationals, or those who owe allegiance to the U.S., including Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territory for three or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.

Duties

• Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips, and polishes using light and heavy-duty powered equipment.
• Operates industrial equipment to clean rugs and carpets.
• Performs routine maintenance of equipment.
• Cleans, disinfects, and deodorizes toilet facilities.
• Cleans and dusts assigned areas.
• Empties trash.
• Washes walls, windows, blinds, and ceiling fixtures using ladders, scaffolds, and safety belts.
• Maintains stock of room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
• Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for this position.
• A one-year probationary period may be required.
• Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, including a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Must meet physical requirements of the position and complete a satisfactory physical examination.

Pay

This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week, whichever provides the greater benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible for extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.

Schedule

Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.

• This job is open to candidates located in the local community area (within a 50-mile radius of Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield, GA). Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.
