Responsibilities
- trash removal
- floor care (sweeping, mopping, stripping/waxing, buffing, vacuuming, & shampooing of carpets)
- window washing
- daily office cleaning
- polishing furniture/fixtures
- moving of furniture
- storage room organization
- light maintenance, repair of miscellaneous equipment
- operating machinery (including scissor lift, electric strippers, buffers, vacuums, extractors and rider scrubber machines)
- opening & locking of facility
- and various other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent education and one year of custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, industrial, hospital, governmental or similar environment
- OR six months of general work experience and one year of custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, industrial, hospital, governmental or similar environment
- OR six months of experience as a Custodial Worker I in Nevada State service
- An equivalent combination of education and experience as described above
Qualifications
- Knowledge of building maintenance equipment (floor machines, riders, lifts, extractors, etc.) & practices

Grade 23 Step 1, salary 41,384.16.
Schedule
Possible Shift Schedules Could Include: Day/First Shift: Thursday-Monday: 6AM-2:30PM (Off Tuesday & Wednesday); Swing/Second Shift: Friday-Tuesday: 2PM-10:30PM (Off Wednesday & Thursday); Graveyard/Third Shift: Tuesday-Saturday: 10PM-6:30AM (Off Sunday & Monday).
