Custodial Worker I
About the role
Custodial Workers provide a clean and safe environment for patients to receive care and staff to provide care. This position is responsible for cleaning and servicing all areas of the hospital according to established procedures. Moves supplies throughout the hospital and will also move light equipment or furniture occasionally per department setup request. Performs a variety of environmental services and cleaning duties to help maintain the hospital in a clean and sanitary condition. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Custodial experience in a hospital-related environment preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push/pull 30 pounds up to 90 feet
