About the role

Under immediate supervision, performs custodial work of routine difficulty and performs related work as required. This is the entry‑working class in the Custodial Worker sub‑series. An employee in this class may be assigned to work any shift in providing custodial services at facilities. This class differs from that of Custodial Worker 2 in that an incumbent of the latter is responsible for acting as lead custodian.
