As a Custodial Specialist, you’ll be on the front line of delivering this experience. Your duties will include ensuring the facility is in world-class condition from the perspective of cleanliness and orderliness. Our custodial group consists of individuals who are empowered to decide how to perform their duties best to achieve the exceptional level of service we desire. Shift hours: Current 7:00am – 3:30pm This position follows an alternate 5-day/4-day work schedule. Employees work Monday through Friday one week and Monday through Thursday the following week, with every other Friday off. This full-time schedule totals 75 hours per two-week pay period and provides an extended weekend every other week. How You’ll Make An Impact Maintaining cleanliness of Central buildings including:Trash PickupCarpet CleaningHard Floor CareRestroom CleaningWindow CleaningAssist in cleanup and maintenance of equipment and campusMaintain equipment cleanliness according to manufactures recommendations, reporting issues when appropriateApply cleaning solutions and chemicals in accordance to labels and lawsAssisting with other special projects throughout Central Insurance campusesComplete beverage and room set up as requested, including but not limited to: coffee, water, soft drinksWeekend/holiday on-call as scheduled including the monitoring and announcements of severe weatherCleaning of Central’s rental properties as assignedTrain and answer questions for others within the team Monitor and report problems for Central systems including, but not limited to heating and cooling systems, plumbing, electrical, and lighting What You’ll Bring Stamina to be on feet 100% of the timeAbility to work on stairs and climb laddersAbility to lift up to 30 poundsValid driver’s licenseVerbal and written communication skillsMulti-tasking and prioritization skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to understand Central Insurance’s policies and processesBasic computer skills Total Rewards Central establishes base pay based on several factors including labor market data and an evaluation of candidate qualifications relative to role requirements.
