Custodial Floater - 260 days (Day Shift)

Essential Functions

• Cleans corridors, cafeteria, restrooms, shower rooms, according to departmental guidelines.
• Cleans light fixtures.
• Strips, scrubs, and refinishes floors.
• Cleans walls, furniture, blinds, and carpet during summer months or when school is not in session.
• Performs snow removal from entranceways.
• Affords assistance to maintenance personnel when required.

Equipment

• Uses hand tools of trade and related power equipment, including brooms, mops, floor cleaning and waxing machines, vacuum cleaners, snow blowers, and snow shovels.

Travel Requirements

Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.

Pay Rate

$15.75 per hour

Work Schedule

8 hours per day 260 days per year
