Job Responsibilities
- Performs all assignments related to the Facilities Department as defined by written work orders and verbal directives from the Custodial Supervisor and/or other members of the leadership team.
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (ex. dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning).
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
- Cooperate and collaborate with all coworkers.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Makes meetings with supervisor as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Additional Duties
- For Floor Tech Include:
- Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas and other areas
- Moving furniture before and after cleaning
- Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping and waxing floors
- Measuring chemicals correctly
- Operating chemical dispensing units and labeling chemicals correctly
- Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently
- Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties
- Assisting with the hazardous waste collection as requested by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED required.
- An associate’s degree or certification from a trade school preferred.
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in housekeeping preferred.
- A current TB test within thirty (30) days of hire.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
