Curriculum Specialist (K-12 Generalist) - Part-time (California)

About the role

Savvas Learning Company is seeking a Part-time Curriculum Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role supports teachers and introduces new programs, focusing on print, digital, and blended solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent support for pilot teachers throughout the pilot process.
• Contribute customer feedback to sales, product, and marketing teams to enhance offerings and strategies.
• Maintain content level expertise through Savvas Learning Company certification and materials.
• Deliver Program Activation trainings for new and existing customer accounts.
• Demonstrate deep understanding and knowledge of Savvas Learning Company’s print and digital solutions.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers throughout the sales cycle and post-activation, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain relationships with key 9-12 decision-makers.
• Collaborate with Savvas teams to ensure alignment, support, and resolution of customer satisfaction issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of 9-12 education experience, including classroom teaching.
• Previous experience in selling and servicing in the education market.
• Experience in public speaking and creating engaging presentations.
• Biliterate in English/Spanish preferred.
• Expert knowledge of education theory and market trends in 9-12 Math.
• Strong communication skills to relate to all levels of 9-12 employees.
• Proficiency with technology skills, including presentation software and hardware.
• Understanding of sales campaign strategy, market trends, and Savvas Learning Company services.
• Collaborative mindset and proactive attitude.
• Exceptional organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge and passion for learning in 9-12 education.
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to handle a high volume of work in a short period.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Regional travel required, with some short notice requests.
• Monitoring and controlling timekeeping and expenses.

• Compensation: $42/hr. - $45/hr. (Compensable time includes program and pilot activation, internal training $30/hr., and travel & administrative $20/hr.)

Hiring Range: $42/hr. - $45/hr.
