Curriculum Developer I
Bear Mountain Services, a division of All Native Group and Ho Chunk, Incorporated, is seeking an exceptional Curriculum Developer I / Instructional Developer I to provide developmental and production support for Navy curriculum revision efforts under the CTC program.
Responsibilities
- Assist with development and revision of lesson plans, trainee guides, assessments, and presentation materials.
- Format products using approved templates, style guides, and authoring tools.
- Incorporate Government review comments and directed edits.
- Support OMS repositories, file naming conventions, and version control logs.
- Conduct proofreading, hyperlink checks, and quality control reviews.
- Other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience creating assessments.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and design skills to develop training course materials.
- Excellent written and spoken use of the English language.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Ability to follow technical direction and interact effectively in a multicultural setting.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively on a team with colleagues in various employment categories (active duty military, civil service government employees, and other contract employees).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Instructional Design, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Zero to three years of Navy curriculum development experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to random drug screens throughout employment.
Work Environment
- Operates in executive settings with frequent engagement at the highest levels of Navy leadership.
- Uses executive office equipment and classified communication systems.
- Physical demands typical of executive positions, including extensive travel and high-stress decision-making.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel and overnight stays may be expected.
