Curriculum Developer/Designer (Part-Time) - 2026
Responsibilities
- Conducting research of curricula to determine what materials, resources, and innovations should be added, revised, or adapted to meet new learning models.
- Developing/redesigning curricula at the graduate level, which will include traditional lecture, hybrid, and/or fully online courses (e.g., transitioning from traditional lecture to hybrid courses).
- Preparing course materials (i.e., syllabi, presentations, hand-outs, reading materials, videos etc.) in multiple variations for use in both traditional lectures and online platforms/technology.
Requirements
Successful candidates will have a core knowledge including, but not limited to, any concentration under agriculture, biotechnology, environmental science, food science, kinesiology and physiology, life sciences (chemistry, biology, physics, etc.), engineering (i.e., biomedical, biochemical, chemical, electrical, computer, pharmaceutical, etc.), pharmacology, computer and information science (i.e., statistics and biostatistics, discovery informatics and data science, applied computing, information technology, networking, etc.), and business (i.e., accounting, finance, leadership, marketing, etc.).
Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with a Master's degree in a relevant field and experience in curriculum development and design.
Skills
Strong skills in curriculum development, instructional design, and proficiency in using various online learning platforms are required.
