About the role

The Retail Curbside Attendant is responsible for processing all incoming curbside orders from the online platform(s) while adhering to all state compliance standards. This includes printing product labels, providing order totals to customers, and delivering excellent customer service through outbound calls.

Responsibilities

  • Pull inventory from the sales floor and enter products into the customer’s sales order
  • Build and set up profiles in Leaf Logix
  • Update all steps during the process in applicable software applications
  • Create an exceptional customer service experience through education, product knowledge, and salesmanship
  • Answer customer questions regarding price and product use during outbound calls
  • Comply with all state regulations for medical and/or retail sales
  • Follow all cash handling policies and procedures
  • Report issues to management
  • Stay updated on regulations and policies, including state/local compliance, security, and access protocols
  • Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces, register areas, restrooms, and store appearance

Requirements

  • Must stay current and adhere to all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency
  • Must meet age requirements as outlined by the state cannabis agency
  • Able to pass all background checks as required by the state cannabis agency
  • Able to accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Effective communication with customers, caregivers, and team members
  • Prior customer service experience in hospitality, pharmacy, customer service, or retail
  • Understanding and knowledge of cannabis products
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years of retail experience; cannabis experience a plus

Working Conditions

  • Work is primarily performed in a dispensary setting with potential odors, noise from fans/filtration systems, and fluctuating temperatures
  • Frequent contact with staff, vendors, customers, law enforcement, and state inspectors

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent communication with customers/caregivers regarding medical conditions and product information
  • Regular operation of computer/POS systems, printers, phones, and photocopiers
  • Must remain stationary when checking in customers or operating the register
  • Constant movement and transport of dispensary products/totes up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, and walk as required for dispensary duties
