Curb Machine Operator

The position is for an Operator responsible for operating a Curb Machine along with several other types of construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This equipment may include, but is not limited to, skid steers, backhoes, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, and other pieces of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Curb Machine and other construction equipment (skid steers, backhoes, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, etc.) safely and efficiently.
• Perform labor tasks as needed when not operating equipment.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• A Class A CDL is desired but not necessary prior to hire.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Experience operating equipment and the ability to safely and efficiently operate a Curb Machine desired.
• Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and in dirty and dusty environments.
• When not operating equipment, be willing to labor as needed.
• Member of a Local Operators Union, or willingness to become a union member required (union membership not required prior to employment).
• Human Resources Department available to assist with union membership process as needed.
• Successfully pass or have passed the Operators Union aptitude test when required.
