Curb Machine Operator
About the role
Zenith Tech Inc., a Walbec Group company located in Southeast WI, is seeking a Curb Machine Operator for an exciting career in road, highway, and bridge construction. Responsibilities
- Operate a curb machine safely and efficiently.
- Operate other construction equipment including skid steers, backhoes, front‑end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, and similar equipment.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites throughout Southeast WI and west to Madison, WI as needed.
Qualifications
- Class A CDL desired but not required prior to hire; must be obtained after a determined period, with the company covering the cost.
- Experience operating construction equipment, with the ability to safely and efficiently operate a curb machine.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
- Ability to tolerate variable weather conditions and work in dirty, dusty environments.
- Willingness to perform general labor when not operating equipment.
- Member of a Local Operators Union or willingness to become a member.
