About the role
Southeastern Museums Conference seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and a passion for museums.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote Southeastern Museums Conference events and initiatives.
- Manage social media accounts and engage with the community through various platforms.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
- Research and analyze market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Work closely with the Executive Director to develop and implement marketing plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media management tools.
Qualifications
- Experience working with non-profit organizations is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills.

SEMC offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, health insurance, and a flexible work schedule.
Pay
Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually
Schedule
The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility based on project needs.
