We are a worldwide supplier of electrical harnesses, lead wires, jumper wires, twisted pair wires, cable assemblies, molded plugs, thermoform plastics, and populated circuit boards.

About the role

A production employee performs duties in preparation for assembly, sub-assembly, core assembly, and finishing processes in the production of the final product.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, and electronic and pneumatic tooling.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.

Requirements

• Minimum of grammar school education.
• 3 months of related factory experience preferred.
• Good command of the English language, both written and verbal, is preferred.
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks such as building a cable assembly, cutting and stripping wire, potting, crimping, applying labels, plugging wires into connectors, operating a heat seal gun, operating a bench press, and soldering wire.
• Use and familiarity with assembly and measuring tools, interpret visual aids, and perform simple shop math.
• Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials, typically not more than 35 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive work.
• Ability to regularly sit or stand, bend, and reach.

Schedule

Full-time position available on first or second shift.
