Culture Team Member SY 26/27 - Belmont Campus

About the role

The Culture Team Member establishes and carries out consistent discipline systems and supports for student behavior, including student reflection, detention, and dress code. Additionally, the Culture Team Member supports student participation in community circles and town halls, and delivers curriculum aimed at helping students in their personal and professional development.

The Culture Team Member works hand in hand with other members of the culture team, other administration and staff to ensure consistent student support.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Dean of Culture as the point person for discipline/culture issues
• Supervise breakfast, lunch, transitions, enrichment, and dismissal
• Manage detention
• Support teachers to hold all students to consistent expectations
• Aid teachers in their instructional practice, especially as it relates to issues of discipline, relationships with students, classroom management, and school culture
• Assist teachers, students, and parents in the effective creation and implementation of individual behavior plans
• Participate in home visits highlighting the responsibilities of parents, teachers, and students
• Be highly present and visible during school hours
• Model the school’s values and the standard for professional behavior
• Maintain accurate student records, documenting all conferences and phone calls for behavior and attendance
