CULINARY TEAM LEADER (FULL TIME)

About the role

Assists the Manager on Duty with coordinating production, safety and customer service by assigning, delegating and managing the duties of all staff within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in the preparation and service of food and beverage items while adhering to company standards for presentation, sanitation and safety; ensure proper portion control.
• Oversee work procedures and expedite workflow to ensure timely, efficient meal service to all service areas.
• Direct and participate in the overall sanitation and safety of the facility and associates in accordance with both company standards and government regulations.
• Oversee the productivity and breaks of associates; communicate performance issues to management.
• Participate in the onboarding and training of other associates; may conduct pre-service meetings.
• Respond to customer needs and requests; resolve customer concerns.
• Assist in menu planning and ordering procedures using appropriate company programs and initiatives.
• May be responsible for proper cash handling and completion of required daily, weekly and monthly reports, including inventory, cash and production records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous culinary and production kitchen experience required.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

Pay

$26.15 per hour to $27.00 per hour

Schedule

• Full time schedule
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Rotating weekends and holidays
